Yes Ryan, I have seen the photo?s section and even started a folder of my
own there. On weekends I am pretty busy trying to finish up my Q200 but will
do the patching needed on the little Q along with working on the Q200. In
the meantime I will be searching for the engine. Really didn?t want to go
chopping out the firewall for the Vdub though. In looking at the changing
over to the rotax 503 instructions I found some of the dimensions for the
engine mount don?t jive. But they are close enough it that is the way I
choose to go. Believe it was on the spacing for the engine mounts on the 3
drawings. They don?t match. Wonder if anyone has used the 582 water cooled
rotax? About 3 weeks ago I had a chance to get a whole bunch of VW parts for
free and passed it up. Now they are gone. You can see both my Q?s from the
links at the bottom of this post.

I was not sugesting anyone should run the 1/2 VW, but that they are
popular. I am just as afraid of a 2 cylinder engine as I am a 2
stroke engine. Have you been to our PHOTOS section ?
