Ryan,
I'm starting to think about props. What size prop did you
have on your original Q. What engine were you using at the
time? What was your ground clearance. I like powerfin.
It's ground adjustable. I'm also considering a 4 blade
model. Would you move the gear inboard on a taildragger q
to minimize the bounce? I'm not going to change mine at
this point, but I'm just curious.
Regards Dave R.

My Q1 was built and flown as originally designed.

I converted to Tri gear for practical reasons:
Any one can handle a tri gear [no worry about ground
loops],
A tri-gear does not have to worry about prop strikes when
braking,
I can takeoff and land in about 500-600 feet,
I only had a 5-8 mph speed penalty with the nose gear.

If I were to convert back to a taildragger I would put the
main gear
inboard as in the Mk2 Dragonfly.
