Q1 Main Wing Airfoil? was created by Simonsen

Hey..

I'm planning to make a 3D model of the Quickie Q1 design, but in order to do this accurate, I need the name of the main wings profle name. The canard profile is LS1-0417MOD, but does anyone know which airfoil the main wing uses?

The main wing airfoil on all of the Q designs is "Eppler 1212"

There is an article about the Q airfoils in the Newsletter archive:

But you must be a member of the Quickie Builders Association to access it. Hope this helps, please let me know.

Hmm..

Another problem - what is the width of the main wing at BL00? I've tried to measure it from the drawings in the Q1 construction manual, but I got a result of 78 cm (30,7 inches)? Isn't that too much? :huh:
