I assume that you have not cut the fuselage in 1/2 for trailering? If not I
would suggest that you do that rather than cut inspection doors. It isn't
all that hard, makes trailering easy(er), makes inspection and maintenance
very easy.

Fiberglass can handle the compression loads from a fastner. Foam can't.
Flox does pretty well. For something like a door hinge you might have good
luck simply floxing in a piece of aluminum, then driling and tapping. Keep
in mind that aluminum cannot be bonded with any reliabality so this should
be used only for non structural fastners.

Sounds kind of messy. Some people have built temporary plastic tents over
the parts and heated with several small electric heaters (may have to
disable the thermostats). For the black paint, just use Ditzler DPLF-90
epoxy primer. It's black covers well with thin coats and is a good base for
final paint.
