Q1_Aircraft: John Finley's Thunder Quickie

Nice photo here in the group of John's Thunder Quickie. I wonder what
engine he has in it? Does anyone fly one with the 18 HP Onan in it
these days?

What an awesome little airplane, thanks guys. Only thing is, even
though it is much faster and far more of a bird with a big engine that
small fuel tank sure limits the distance one could fly at a shot...

although, I have to agree, more than three hours without a stop is a
bit much anyway.
