Ryan,
I was thinking like a nose dragger, thinking I really need
differential braking. I'm going to do it sort of per plan. Do you
think putting a turn buckle between the left and right brake cable
would be better than just nico pressing them together? I could then
be able to adjust the brakes over time for wear etc. I could hook
the handle cable to either side of the turn buckle also (pretty much
to plan).

PS. Had some good weather this week, so I glassed some more on my
rear wing. I only need to do the two(2 bid) tapes on the front of
the wing to the seat back bulkhead. Then the rear wing will be
officially glued on.

Thanks
Dave R.

Dave,

It depends on how you mount your brakes as to where you put the
adjusters. My adjuster arms were outside of the wheel pants.
What tools are you using to properly align the incidence for the
wings?

Ryan,
To align the wing, I trued the firewall perpendicular. Then I made
sure the plane was level across the longerons in the cockpit. I used
a water level wing tip to wing tip, I didn't like the idea of
sighting down a level, that seemed a bit hokey to me. I then leveled
the wing angel using the epoxied on wood pieces put on top of the
wing when it is constructed. Then we floxed it in place. I didn't
put the bids and uni's on till just recently (perfect temp and
weather). I hope that it turns out well as I've read a lot of
discussions in the Q group which denotes how critical the alignment
is between the two wings. I later verified some of these setups
using a digital level before I did the uni's and bids.

Dave,

I am glad to see you using a digital level. I am going to get one to
check all of my flying surfaces.
