Q1_Aircraft: ONAN ENGINE

Back in the good ole days when you purchased an Onan engine from Quickie, they
sent you the 18 hp engine. You were then supposed to run the engine for X ?
number of hours, then take the heads off and send them in. They would send you
the new heads that increased the compression, thus the 22 horse power. I believe
the 22 hp version cost somewhere around $ 300.00 extra dollars if you wanted
that. I prepaid for those but never sent my 18 HP heads in to receive the 22 HP
heads, so of course I gave away my $ 300.00.
As a matter of fact I gave away several thousand dollars worth of carbon fibre
spars to Quickie Corp that I was never paid for.
