Rather than Nitrous I'd opt for a turbo. The small turbos from the Mercedes
Smart car would be a very good match for the Onan. You can get aftermarket
stock and performance versions for reasonable prices (depending on the
current exchange rate). They don't weigh any more than a nitrous setup and
you have the option of reducing the boost after take off to maintain sea
level manifold pressure, and Hp.

The 2 down sides I can see are problems with packaging and extra heat under
the cowl.

BTW...........the device on the referenced web site is a scam. More can be
expected as the price of oil rises.

I?m with Leon, addition of a properly sized turbo will give yoy good
reliable power and maintain sea level performance of your engine.

My biggest concern with nitrous is the added weight and the possibility of
loosing the ?juice? at a bad time. Nothing like being ?out of airspeed,
altitude, and ideas all at the same time?, as my bush pilot flight
instructor, Jack Hunziker, used to say.
