I've seen plans on Ebay for Propane injection, which sounds interesting.

Basically, I think you just build a plate between the carb and the intake
manifold and pipe it in. It'd be used only for takeoff/climbout.

Has anyone else looked into the Ad in Sport Aviation about the nitrous
injection. Check out his website, hometown.aol.com/jacsil4/
Maybe that would be good for the little Onan to make it out of 6240' elev.
Wonder if that is the same setup Bruce B used to set his altitude records.
