Ryan, Is that your 1835 in the photo's section your tri gear? Did you
have to intrude into the firewall to fit it on? Is the starter in a
different location? If you use the Deihl rear case, will it fit the
alternator and mount to the firewall without punching through. I know
My Q200 has the hole in the firewall and that is going to be a pain to
work on the starter or Generator, have to take off the engine.

many questions.

Ron,

Yes I have an 1835 engine. I removed all of the original firewall and
replaced it with a 1/2 inch plywood sheet with no cutouts.
I added 3 more of the original engine mounts and now have 6 stock
rubber mounts to handle the extra weight and vibration [you can see
these in the 'PHOTOS' section. I have a Toyota starter and a modified
VW Rabbit automatic flywheel.I now have a small alternator on the front
of my engine. I flew on battery power for over a year with no charging
system. I will get a photo of it soon.
