Q1_Aircraft: First flight of my Tri-Q1

Today I made my first high speed taxi up to 60mph without any nose
wheel shimmy or problems at all with my new tri gear.
I was concerned about possible wheel barrowing and experienced none.

At 62mph I pulled back on the elevator and lifted off and flew in
ground effect for 2000 feet at 75mph and landed on the mains as any
other tri gear airplane would.

I made four different high speed runway flights and all were safe and
controllable.

Next week I should have some data about the different speeds with
standard gear vs. tri-gear on the same airplane.
