Q1_Aircraft: Q2 or Q1 kit was created by HAIQU_OZ

Hi,

I'm looking for a Q2 kit preferrably unstarted, original and complete
including plans. Cheap as possible, within reasonable bounds. Must be
willing to ship to Australia. Tri-gear kit and/or LS1 canard a bonus but
not essential. Engine is optional but prefer to source that locally.

Quickie (Q1) kit in original condition also considered if at a bargain
price.

I know a guy that has a complete Q-200 kit with LS1 canard and tri gear. Cores
have been cut and that's about it. Getting him to ship it might be the hard
part. Kits about 40 miles from here in a real small town. Older gentleman owns
it and several other non-finished kits. Get in touch with me direct and let me
know what you want to pay and I can pass it on to him.

Hi John,

Thanks for your response. Dealing through a third party at this
distance probably would be difficult. And if the gentleman has started
and not finished several kits I don't like my chances of getting all
the bits crated and shipped here. He sounds fairly disorganized.

Thanks anyhow.

Rob

Additional information:

I have a local contact who can ship from Vans Aircraft (Oregon) in a
container leaving at the end of November. Preference will therefore be
given to kits available in the general vicinity of the West Coast.

My budget probably doesn't run to Q200s with LS1 and tri-gear. Think
$2000.00 _maximum_ and you can't go wrong.

Leon,

What would you charge for a set of mechanical drawings and templates?
I'm interested because I found the plans online a while ago but there
are no drawings.

If you have Q2 plans or know of where to find them I would also be
interested, but I do realise they were sold as pre-molded parts and
may not be available.

Leon,

Don't quite understand what you mean when you say 'get the CD from
Quickie source'. Is this a different supplier than the guy selling on
eBay?

Also, can these really be built off plans? I thought the original
airplane was supplied with a fuselage kit pre-built.
