Q1_Aircraft: Wet canard

Today I flew into the edge of a low cloud and the canopy got wet as
well as the rest of the Q1.
I did not lose any altitude but the elevator stick force became very
heavy. I expected to fall out of the sky from what I have read about
moisture on a canard.

Comments?

Is your canard equipped with vortex generators?
They're becoming commonplace on many Q-2's I see.
What are you hanging off the firewall?

No I have not tried vortex generators yet.

I have a 1915cc VW.

--any one on here looking for a Q1 totally stock,just needs some work at the
canard fusl.joints'hard landing' fairly nice plane,the owner was hit by a
train,,his widow wants it gone, if interested emial me off list at
rwehba@...
I have personally flown it,flew nice,but not my type of toy!
