When glassing the vertical fin slot do you use peel ply in the area where there is going to be glass to glass contact (like when glassing the rudder and ailerons)or do you sand it to get the roughness required.
Thanks

Hey Walchook,
Either method is fine. However, I think whenever you can plan ahead and use peel ply, this would be the preferred method, since you risk damaging the structure when you use sand paper.
Hope this makes sense. And I apologize for the late response.
Take care,

Flying an aeroplane with only a single propeller to keep you in the air. Can you imagine that?
