just bought and am working on q, trying to get to fun n sun in april......what i bought came missing a few parts.....looking for a used cowl/nosebowl....and maybe some discussion about factory landing gear vs tricycle

I flew the original gear version from grass and paved runways and I liked it. It does have some limitations in crosswind landings on short paved runaways. Just my 2 cents.

Did you make any modifications to your gear or wheelpants to work off grass? Bigger tires perhaps? Any personal grass strip runway length minimums?

Everything I've come across (besides the factory) says to avoid them...
