Installation of the elevator slot foam cores onto the canard. Beginning of the wheel pant. Small tabs may be bonded to the outside of the fuselage shells to improve jigging upon assembly. Time to relax following lamination of many plies of fiberglass. | ||
Applying the micro slurry mixture to the canard top surface. Note the jigging so that the foam cores hold their shape. | ||
Fuselage bulkheads bonded to the pre- fabricated fuselage shells. | ||
Fiberglass cloth draped over the elevator foam core. The shiny finish will dissapear when the cloth has been wetted out with epoxy. | The canopy has been bonded to the upper forward fuselage shell prior to cutting out the canopy frame. | Rudder pedal installation on the Q2. |
