I bought some plastic "T" channel that is used for a suspended ceiling at Home Depot for $5.00. I cut the material into 1 1/4" lengths on a bandsaw. Then I angle cut them with a cheap pair of scissors while watching TV. I touched the edges and corners on belt sander and ended up with about 84 VG's. I then cut about 1/8" off bottom of the "T" (between the 2 bumps molded there) and sanded the remaining bump flat for glue. These feathers turned out so nice I actually like them better than some of the factory made VG's that I have left.
