David,
I have a Q1 with a tinted canopy. It?s not flying yet, though. I
don?t find it that dark. I am not planning to fly at night at this point. It
looks good from the inside while sitting in my workshop and making airplane
noises. In Texas I think the tint is just fine. It?s not really as dark as
wearing sun glasses. I could take a measurement if that would help. I don?t
think it would be bad at night, kind of like a tinted car window.
Regards,
Dave R

Subject: [Q1_Aircraft] Tinted canopy
Hello,
I would like to know if anyone here uses a tinted canopy on his Q1 ? Is
it 'really' tinted as sunglasses or it is only slightly tinted ? Any
comments about tinted canopy ? bad, good ?
David
