I was curious what the service ceiling would be on a Q2, with the Revmaster 2100 engine.

Hi Craig,
A Quickie Q1 with 22hp engine could get to 15,300 ft so I'd assume the Q2 would be about the same. In any case you'd need oxygen over 10,000 so it's safe to say that the answer is "plenty high enough."

article published in 1981, the service ceiling is 19,000 ft with one person and 15,000 ft with two.
