Welcome to QBA's New Home!

Welcome to the new home of the Quickie Builders Association! I set up this website in 2005 to help people who are either building or flying a Quickie homebuilt Aircraft or contemplating doing so. I have been a Quickie enthusiast since I was a little kid, and I want everyone who visits to learn more about these amazing airplanes.

On January 1st, 2010 I took over as editor for the Quickie Builders Association and will continue working hard to help builders collaborate and exchange ideas. All of the information that was on the old site has been brought over to the new site here. You can see all of that by visiting the “QBA” tab at the top of the page.

If you have EVER been a member of the Quickie Builders Association, or if you’re simply interested in building or learning more about these terrific homebuilt airplanes, I encourage you to become a member of the Quickie Builders Association and keep this group going (and growing) well into the future!

I have many exciting things planned for this year, and strong membership numbers will help ensure that many of these plans can bear fruit. When you become a member, you will instantly unlock areas of this site that are available and visible to MEMBERS ONLY.

In addition, we are currently working to put the last 30 years of QBA newsletters online, archiving the wealth of information and experience gathered by builders and flyers over that time period. This means that your $20 membership will eventually grant you access to over $500 worth of back issues. This new feature will go a long way in answering your questions and hopefully end some of the mystery surrounding these super efficient designs!

I appreciate your support, and look forward to working with you well into the next decade! Please join today!

Warm regards,
Dan Yager
