Q-talk 94 - Q-tips - Finishing Glass

Chris McAtee Casper, WY

When you are in the finishing mode, the outer surface of the fiberglass will have slight bumps that you have to sand off. Be careful to not damage the glass; don't sand too much. Then get a perfectly straight aluminum tool (an aluminum level works) and push it back and forth across the "straight" surface. The aluminum will wear off the tool and deposit a residue on the fiberglass. Any gray/black spots that appear are high spots.
